All SWF files must be converted to a video format (ie QuickTime, AVI, MPEG, etc) before uploading. The easiest way to do this, is to open your original FLA file, go to File > Export. In this window, select QuickTime as the format. While it is possible to upload QuickTime movies to the website as is, we recommend further compression using the technique outlined below.
Compressing your filesBefore uploading your entry, we highly-recommend that you compress the file to help alleviate issues for site users with slower speed connections. If you have Flash Video Encoder, place your video format file (ie QuickTime, AVI, MPEG, etc) in the queue, and select 'Settings'. Select 'Flash 8 - Low Quality 150kbps). Click 'Start Queque' Flash Encoder will create a compressed FLV to upload with your entry. If you don't have Flash Video Encoder, use the Vide to FLV converting tool of your choice.
